Michael A. Civin, Ph.D., Psychologist

After so many years in practice, Dr. Michael A Civin, Ph.D is a lot more than highly educated; he has also gained a rich experience that informs everything he does. Starting with his education, he earned an A.B. Degree cum laude from Harvard in 1968 and followed that up by spending two years learning from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then earned his first Master of Arts degree from the University of Oregon in 1970 and his second in Clinical Psychology from the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University in 1986. Not satisfied, he went on to earn his Ph.D. Dr. Civin from Adelphi and received his medical degree from the Pennsylvania Institute of Straight Chiropractic in 1988.

That only set him up for the nearly 30 years of experience he has gained since then. Dr. Michael A Civin, Ph.D. has been a specialist in clinical psychology in the Bronx area of New York City for almost the entire time, to the point that he has come to be seen as an important part of the psychological services community of New York City. Besides co-founding Rose Hill Psychological Services, where he continues to serve as their senior psychologist.
